On Thursday, June 11, 2015 NCC, DC Schools’ administration was pleased to host a graduation ceremony for eight graduates. With over 80 guests in attendance, the 2015 graduating class took the next step in building their future at the Anderson Coleman Conference Center in Capital Heights, MD.
NCC President and CEO, Jesse Chancellor presented the welcome message, while Patricia Browne, NCC’s Chief Operating Officer provided words of encouragement. Of the students graduating, two decided to provide personal remarks to the audience. Adrian Minard gave a speech to the crowd and Rebecca Pacheoco presented an augmentative communication speech.
“NCC would like to wish our graduates the best as they all move forward into the world of employment and remember, the key to success begins with you,” stated Tarlesha Wayne, Principal of NCC Schools.
NCC is proud to report that our graduating students will be moving forward within NCC programs, including Community Day Services and Supported Employment. Some of our graduating students have mentioned that taking community college courses and entering areas of competitive employment are also next steps.
Congratulations to the class of 2015!
