Congratulations to Washington, DC’s DSP of the Year

Congratulations to Steve Holley for being recognized by the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) as the Washington, DC Representative for the 2018 Direct Support Professional of the Year Award. Since 2007, ANCOR has honored exceptional DSPs for exemplary work in furthering community inclusion and full participation for the many Americans living with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities. Steve will be recognized along with his peers at the ANCOR National Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana next month.

We celebrate Steve’s achievement for his outstanding service as a DSP and a special recognition for being chosen in the category of NADSP Tenets. “I enjoy what I do”, says Steve. As a DSP, Steve has been with NCC for 27 years. He is a graduate of Gallaudet University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. He speaks very highly of the people he serves. “We’ve become a family.”

Steve’s hard work and dedication exemplifies his commitment and passion for the persons he supports. Steve has also been recognized by the Lifeline Partnership Organization which serves the spiritual and social needs of people with developmental disabilities. This is the Lifeline Partnership 2018 Caregiver Award. We congratulate Steve on being a double winner. NCC is proud to call him one of our own!
