NCC staff is nominated for the 2015 Direct Support Professional Recognition Award

NCC would like to highlight the great service that our Direct Support Professionals continue to provide on a daily basis. One of our staff has made a real difference for the people we support! Lucy Anthony was one of more than 250 DSPs nominated for ANCOR’s 2015 Direct Support Professional Recognition Award. These awards honor and recognize the dedicated individuals who continually enrich the lives of the people with disabilities they serve.

The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) is a national, nonprofit trade association representing more than 800 private community providers of services to people with disabilities. Combined, we service over 400,000 individuals with disabilities and work to shape policy, share solutions and strengthen the community.

Again, congratulations go out to Lucy Anthony on the honor of achieving this nomination for her stellar commitment to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We know that our organization will continue to do great things in 2015 through the work that we provide that ensures people with disabilities have the necessary supports that enable them to live life more independently, often in a community-based setting.
