Our supports vary based upon individual needs and promote independence and community integration. Adult Day ProgramTherapeutic day program for men and women with developmental disabilities. Therapies, life and social skills classes, community-based activities and vocational services ensure men and women with disabilities achieve greater independence and have the daily care they require. Goals of meaningful employment and greater independence are made possible through a variety of services that are customized to match each person?s abilities, strengths and interests. Greater DC RespitalityGreater DC Respitality gives caregivers of people with developmental disabilities a break in a local hotel, with complimentary meals and extras such as gift certificates, spa services, flowers, tickets to local events. While the caregivers are relaxing and enjoying their night off, a stipend from Greater DC Respitality covers the cost of care for the loved one with a disability by a person chosen and hired by the caregiver. 6200 Second Street, NW |
