Margarita Lorenzetti, CPA, is an accomplished and skilled senior accounting and finance management executive with a stellar record of success in overseeing organizational financial reporting, financial controls, and quality control plans. Her areas of expertise include financial leadership and vision, accounting and financial operations, growth and strategy development, audit management, system implementations, budget and financial management, revenue recognition, and expense reductions.
Margarita has a strong professional background, her most recent appointment was Director of Finance at the Air Line Pilots Association, International, with 18 years of service. ALPA represents and advocates for more than 52,000 pilots at 31 U.S. and Canadian airlines, making it the world’s largest airline pilot union. While at ALPA, she started the ALPA Emergency Relief Fund – a 501(c)(3) charity that provides financial assistance to pilots and their families that suffer the devastating effects from air crashes or natural disasters. She has also held positions as Controller and Accounting Manager with the Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin & Kahn Law Firm in Washington, DC, where she led the merger of finances with a New York law firm, and subsequently established accounting and tax policies for new offices in Saudi Arabia and Hungary. She brings almost 30 years of experience in public accounting, law firm financial management and non-profit/charity organization to NCC.
Margarita received her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from University of Maryland, College Park. She is an active member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
